After the release of the stable version 2.0 of its Spatial ETL tool GeoKettle yesterday and in preparation for the FOSS4G 2011 conference, next week in Denver, Spatialytics is proud to announce today the release of GeoMondrian 1.0.

GeoMondrian is an open source Spatial OnLine Analytical Processing (Spatial OLAP or SOLAP) server, a spatially-enabled version of Pentaho Analysis Services (aka. Mondrian). As far as we know, it is the first implementation of such a server and it is open source! Read More

Thierry Badard will give the keynote address at OSGIS 2011, Nottingham, UK, June 22nd, titled : “Open Source Geospatial Business Intelligence (GeoBI): Definition, architectures, projects, challenges and outlooks”.

This is the third Open Source GIS Conference and will be held in the Centre for Geospatial Science, University of Nottingham.

The OSGIS conference series has a strong international focus and takes a holistic approach in bringing together speakers and delegates from government, academe, industry and open source communities. Spatialytics will be present at Geomatics 2009 (#geo09), Oct. 21 and 22

Spatialytics will be present at Geomatics 2009 and talk about This is an event organized by the Montreal Chapter of the Canadian Institute of Geomatics (CIG) that will be held October 21 and 22 in Montreal at the Hilton Montréal Bonnaventure hotel. This Conference comes back every two years.

Luc Vaillancourt will give a presentation (in French) with the title “GeoKettle and GeoMondrian: an Open Source Geo-BI suite“, Wednesday Oct. 21 at 2:55 PM in the “Verdun”conference room.
