GeoMondrian 1.0 is available for download

After the release of the stable version 2.0 of its Spatial ETL tool GeoKettle yesterday and in preparation for the FOSS4G 2011 conference, next week in Denver, Spatialytics is proud to announce today the release of GeoMondrian 1.0.

Immediate release of stable version 2.0 of GeoKettle

A major milestone

Today marks a new era for this Open Source Spatial ETL. There was the « before version 2.0 » and there will be the « after version 2.0 ». We can talk about the « before version 2.0 » in person if we have the occasion but lets talk « now version 2.0 ».

Know that GeoKettle, in addition to our efforts to develop the product itself, is a tool at the heart of all our consulting projects and custom developments since the creation of the company in August 2009. GeoKettle is an incredible tool to clarify, automate, accelerate, standardize and secure all processes requiring steps and jobs to extract, process and load alphanumeric data as well as geometric data. ICC 2011 – Towards context-awareness mobile Geospatial BI (GeoBI) applications, a presentation by Thierry Badard @ICC2011

Thierry Badard is a speaker at ICC 2011, Paris, Wednesday Jully 6 to talk about GeoBI in mobilityTowards context-awareness mobile Geospatial BI (GeoBI) applications. His session is part of block « C3-Tools and infrastructures for spatial analysis » in « Main Topic 8: Modelling, spatial analysis », at 1:50 PM. Mr. Badard is also part of the International scientific committee.

The International Cartographic Conference will be held in Paris from 3rd to 8th July 2011, as well as the 15th General Assembly of the International Cartographic Association.

The ICC 2011 Conference is open to researchers, engineers, students, data producers and software suppliers. The agenda includes mote than 130 sessions held simultaneously in eight meeting rooms covering issues involving cartography and geomatics. In addition to oral presentations, sessions will be organized for the presentation of work in the form of poster displays.
