<p><strong><a href="http://www.spatialytics.com/corporate/thierry-badard/" target="_blank">Dr. Thierry Badard</a></strong> will give <a href="http://2010.foss4g.org/tutorial07.php" target="_blank">a tutorial on the Spatial ETL <strong>GeoKettle</strong> at FOSS4G</a>.</p>
<p>The following points will be addressed during this 30 minute tutorial:</p>

- Writing geospatial data: PostGIS tables, Shapefiles, &#8230;<br />
- Transformations: spatial selection and filtering, schema changes, SRS handling, coordinates transformations, integration of several data sources, geoprocessing, use of scripting capabilities, &#8230;</p>

GeoKettle is a true and consistent integration of the spatial  component where all steps provided by Kettle are able to deal with  geospatial data types. Some geospatial dedicated steps have also been  added. </em><strong></strong><em><strong><a href="http://sourceforge.net/projects/geokettle/" target="_blank">Download GeoKettle</a>.</strong></em></p>
